I updated my box to SuSE 9.1 by ftp installation.
First I tried to use ftp.novell.co.jp.
/pub/suse/suse/i386/9.1/
This site stinks. Don't use it.
Try one of the followings:

Directory? Here you go:
/sites/ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/9.1/
But you know, the ftp installation takes time.
For me, it took almost half a day.
