When tsunami comes, only what people in coast areas have to do is to escape, run away from it. No time to hesitate, no time to bring things out from their houses.
Only what the victims have are what they wore at the time when tsunami came, no money, no water, no food, no extra clothes, no extra underwear, no extra shoes, no extra socks.
People in evacuation centers have to walk to get water and food.
People isolated in the devastated areas have to walk to the place where water and food reached.
They have to walk to search people missing, their parents, their children, their families, their relatives, their friends, their colleagues, neighbors and community members.
That's why they cry for shoes and socks.
