Now you will find "Media Player" between "Eyedropper" and "Macros" (Draw) under Tools on the OpenOffice.org 1.9.56.
It seems to be able to play:
AIF Audio
AU Audio

CD Audio
MIDI Audio
MPEG Audio
MPEG Video
Quicktime Video
Vivo Video
WAVE Audio
I can play a MPEG and a WAVE but can't play a Quicktime as far as I tested.
What are you going to use the OOo Media Player for?
